My love of Rock & Roll started when I first listened to my Mum’s old vinyl on an old Bush record player!

Elvis, The Beatles, The Everley Brothers etc... opened my soul into 60’s Psychodelia, Glam Rock, Punk and Ska. However, with Thee Milkshakes visit to Canterbury in the mid 80’s I was totally blown away by the Rockabilly/Psychobilly scene that had emerged and was in full swing!

The Klub Foot in Hammersmith became my stomping ground and the endless Saturday gigs of The Guana Batz, The Stingrays and Demented Are Go became my life! By the end of the 80’s I was working in an Alternative Clothing store called Trash - it was the only place I could get away with my foot long flat top - I could wear and do exactly what I wanted!

By the 90’s I was wooed into ‘big hair’ Rock , though remained faithful to my old vinyl roots and grew my hair out - losing the flat top was hard! The Klub Foot was gone and Psychobilly had blown itself out, or so I thought.......

Fast forward to 2009!

Not only did I find mates of mine still gigging, but many of my favourite bands were still playing and the scene firmly thriving! I love the new injection of Horror Pop and Garage influences that gives today’s music a real edge that I thought I would never hear or see again!

Hot Rockin’ Belle offers you some of the best of what is available in the scene today, with a healthy dose of flamboyant 50’s Americana, brazen Burlesque and Retro Zombie Horror, mixed with sprinkling of hard edged Pop Surrealism.
